Interior view of restroom with sinks along one wall and lockers in foreground, at Colgate-Palmolive Company in Kansas City, KS, designed by Albert Kahn Associates, c. 1951. “Colgate-Palmolive was formed in New York City in 1806. It traces its Kansas City-area roots to 1872, when Peet Brothers formed a soap company here. Peet Brothers established the Kansas City, Kan., plant in 1906. Palmolive and Peet merged in 1926. Colgate merged with the company in 1928.
