"Piazza Navona is city square in Rome, Italy that occupies the site of an ancient Roman circus and was the site of the 1st century (86 AD) Stadium of Domitian where the Romans came to watch the agones ("games"). The Roman circus was initially known as 'Circus Agonalis' ("competition arena").
