Description
View looking up at the Temple of the Bearded Man atop a pyramid at the northern end of the Ball Court in Chichen Itza, Mexico. It is thought that this platform was where the King and his advisors watched the ball games. "The Temple of the Bearded Man or the North Temple is a small masonry building with detailed bas-relief carvings on the inner walls, including a center figure that has carving under his chin that resembles facial hair. At the south end is another, much bigger temple, but in ruins,"--ChichenItzaRuins website.
