View of the front of the Bigelow Chapel at Mount Auburn cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Designed by and named for local physician, Jacob Bigelow in the Gothic Revival style, it was constructed in 1858 the chapel is still used today, "Originally constructed in 1846, the chapel is named after Jacob Bigelow, the building’s designer, a founder of the Cemetery, a renowned professor of medicine, and a published botanist.
