Description

Detail view of chimney of the Unitarian Meeting House in Madison, Wisconsin designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and completed in 1951. "The steeply angled Auditorium ceiling continues outside the glass to the exterior as the underside soffit of the roof. Opposite, the adjoining Hearth Room provides a less formal gathering space. A massive stone fireplace dominates the west wall and a serving counter that opens to an adjoining kitchen occupies most of the east,"--National Register of Historic Places.
