Detail view of gorgon-headed facades in the colonnaded portico at the Severan Forum at Letis Magna in Libya. "In the great tradition of Roman city squares, Septimius Severan's forum was once surrounded by colonnaded porticoes. The columns of cipolin marble rose to arches.
